💡 Welcome to the ENVRI wiki manual! This page contains instructions for navigating and contributing to the wiki.
🧭 The basics
New to wikis? Not to worry! The pure amount of links can seem daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll find that this way of organising information can be quite powerful. Here are the basics:
At its core, every page of a wiki is a normal webpage, and you navigate by clicking links. Most pages belong to one or several categories. (Categories can contain other categories.) You can find all of these in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen (click the little triangle to show any sub-categories!), and on the main page. You can also use the search bar in the top right corner.
Here are some good examples of different kinds of pages:
- The Category:Page_Tree Page Tree category contains only other categories (in fact, all the ones that appear in the navigation bar!).
- The Category:ENVRIplus ENVRIplus category contains both page content (text, images, and tables), sub-categories, and other pages.
- The Specification report of common test protocols and intercomparison methodologies contains only content, and nothing else. To find which categories that the page belongs to, scroll down to the very bottom of the page.
That's it! With this you should be able to find your way around the wiki. If you feel that you would like more help, don't hesitate to contact us at manager@envri.eu! This manual will also be expanded with time, including images and video material.
